3 Towns Grant!

May 5, 2018

We are VERY pleased to announce that the Fun Club has been granted£409.18 to go towards new equipment and activities for all the attending children. This grant has been given to us from County Durham, from there 3 Towns Partnership program! And we all couldn't be happier about it!

ZUMBA!

March 13, 2018

Can everyone who attended to Diane's zumba class let her know if you're still wanting to go . It's been off a few weeks due to the bad weather & family but she's keen to come back and continue the group. Please get in contact with Diane directly through Facebook, ( Diane Arrowsmith ) or another way, rather than via contact information on the website.

Easter Raffle!

1. If anyone has any donations for the kids Easter raffle at the fun club let us know via our contact details, or you can message Dawn Pedelty on Facebook! Any donations would be highly aappreciated. So far we have many great prizes, such as: 

   - Easter cakes
   - Cream Tea for two at The Dairy Barn
   - Fruit Hamper
   - Mary's Ice Cream voucher
   - Easter Eggs
   - Easter Hamper
   - Bottle of Vodka
   - 2 Sunday Lunches at The Farrers Arms
   - Sweet hamper 
   - Meat Voucher of Robinsons Butchers... and many more!


2. Also raffle tickets are 50p a strip and will be drawn 28th March. If you would like to purchase please get in touch with us, via either our contacts details or Dawn Pedelty on Facebook!


3. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the people who have already bought tickets and donated things too. The money raised will go towards a summer trip out.

Taekwando Announcement!

In case you didn't know, the taekwando class times have changed as of recent, and there will be now two classes held for different belts!

Dues to this change, White to Blue belt will be between 6pm and 7pm on Monday and Friday. Whilst Blue belt and above will be held at 7pm till 8pm, also on Monday and Friday.

Hello, its's been a wheile since we last posted, but all of us at the Stanley Crook Village Hall Association wished you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Anyways, we are pleased to announce that the job which was recently posted on our Facebook wall has been taken, and will no longer be taking applications. 

All Good Things Have to Come to an End

We are sad to say that unfortunately due to a lack of support for the Toddler group we will no longer be offering this activity at the Community Center.

However, we would love to say a HUGE thank you to Jayne Eale's who has tirelessly worked for the group but sadly can no longer continue :( .

Come & Help!

Would you like to help your local community? Have fun with your little ones and catch up with other parents/grandparents? We are looking for someone to take over running the playgroup as due to increasing work commitments the current person who runs it (Jayne Eals) is no longer able to. It would be such a shame if it has to close as it is a lovely group in a great hall. If you are interested please contact her on 07769274393!

Don’t forget to come to our along and join us at out FANTASTIC play group every Monday at 9:30am till 11am. Also, you only pay £1.50 for first child and only 50p for the others! Not to mention that it all includes a drink and a snack!

Recently, the committee have been debating whether to re-introduce the Film Club which occurred every Saturday. However, due to the person who ran it moving away it was forced to stop and now we have the possibility to continue it!

We are pleased to announce that all of the prizes from the raffle have been declared. It has been made alight that the name on the back of the ticket was a spelling mistake and it was supposed to say a different one. However, all has been sorted!

Also, we'd love to say a BIG thank you to those that are baking for the event, and if there's any budding bakers that still can help by baking please we would love you too! We can come and collect if your stuck for getting them to the village hall.

MacMillan Coffee Afternoon

In case you don't know we are having a MacMillan coffee afternoon on Thursday 14th September 1.30-4:00pm. We would like to ask if any body could donate any thing towards this good cause. We are looking for any raffle or tombola prizes,any unwanted bottles of wine,spirits or tins of any thing that could go in a hamper.
